Wollumbin

Wollumbin design polarised sunglasses with floating TPX frames and recycled materials. Launching the brand, they came to us with a deliberately lean brief, to configure and extend the Stretch theme into a launch-ready store, with no invented phases or scope creep. Our kind of brief. The one area they wanted genuinely custom was the product page, where features like UV protection, polarised lenses and recycled materials needed to read as icon blocks rather than a paragraph nobody finishes.

What we did

We built the feature blocks as metaobjects instead of hard-coding them into the template. Each feature is a record in the Shopify admin with its own icon and wording, and each product references the features that apply to it. The theme just renders whatever is attached. Around that, we configured Stretch to the brand kit (colours, typography, custom fonts, spacing and motion), handled the homepage hero video properly across mobile aspect ratios, and set up Shopify Markets for Australia and the US with correct currency switching.

The result

The brand launched on a store that cost what a lean brief should cost. New products get their feature icons without a developer in the loop, and when the range grows or the wording changes, that is an admin edit, not a ticket.

What to take from it

Anything on your product page that repeats across products is content, not code, and it should live somewhere you can edit. Worth checking on your own store. If you wanted to add a new feature icon to twelve products this afternoon, could you? If the honest answer is that you would have to ask someone, that is a build decision that got made for you.
